Transparency

Lionnes Unies en Christ is committed to operating with integrity, accountability, and full transparency before God and those we serve.

Home Governance & Transparency

"Provide things honest in the sight of all men."

Romans 12:17

This page sets out the legal standing, governance structure, and financial accountability of Lionnes Unies en Christ (hereinafter "LUC" or "the Ministry"). We believe that transparency is not merely a legal obligation — it is an expression of our faith and our respect for everyone who partners with our mission.

02

Governance Structure

LUC is governed by a leadership council composed of spiritually mature women called to steward this ministry. Our governance model reflects both biblical accountability and modern non-profit best practices.

Founding Leadership

The Ministry was founded by and remains under the vision of its founder, who serves as President and spiritual overseer in alignment with its founding mandate.

Executive Board

An executive board provides organisational oversight, approves annual budgets, and ensures alignment between programmatic activities and the Ministry's stated mission.

Regional Coordinators

Each national or regional chapter is led by a designated coordinator who reports to the central leadership and ensures local operations comply with both LUC principles and local law.

All LUC leaders are subject to a voluntary code of conduct grounded in scriptural integrity, servant leadership, and mutual accountability. Conflicts of interest are disclosed and managed in accordance with our internal governance policy.

03

Financial Accountability

LUC is committed to the highest standards of financial stewardship. We recognise that every gift entrusted to this Ministry belongs ultimately to God and must be managed accordingly.

  • Annual Financial Review — LUC conducts an internal review of its finances annually and, where required by law, submits financial reporting to the relevant regulatory body in its country of incorporation.
  • Designated Fund Use — Donations made for specific programmes (e.g. Abidjan 2028 Gala, humanitarian outreach) are allocated exclusively to those purposes unless otherwise authorised by the donor in writing.
  • No Personal Enrichment — No board member, officer, or volunteer benefits personally from Ministry funds beyond reasonable and documented programme-related expenses.
  • Third-Party Payment Processing — All online donations are processed through secured, third-party platforms (including Zeffy) and are not stored on LUC servers.
  • Financial Records — Summarised financial information is available to members of the Ministry in good standing upon written request.
04

Donations Policy

All financial contributions made to LUC are voluntary gifts freely given in support of the Ministry's mission. By making a donation, donors acknowledge and accept the following:

1.

Tax Deductibility. Donations may be tax-deductible depending on the donor's country of residence and applicable local laws. LUC does not provide legal or tax advice. Donors are encouraged to consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances.

2.

Non-Refundable. All completed donations are generally non-refundable unless a processing error has occurred. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

3.

Currency & Processing. Donations are accepted in multiple currencies. Exchange rate variations and processing fees charged by payment providers are the responsibility of the donor's financial institution and are beyond LUC's control.

4.

Recurring Gifts. Donors who establish recurring giving may cancel at any time by contacting the Ministry in writing at least 5 business days before the next scheduled transaction.

5.

Donor Records. LUC retains donor records securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Records are never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
